History

Carmichael Machine Corporation serves a diversified customer base and has grown into one of the leading manufacturers of machined components in the region. The Company's standards of excellence, its business values and its success can be traced throughout its history:

• The Carmichael Machine Company was founded in 1945 by Elwood "Hoagie" Carmichael as a supplier of machined products to the automotive replacement products industry.
• Jack Hill purchased the Company in 1962 and expanded its served markets by focusing on the supply of components for the aerospace and defense industry.
• In 1982, the McGregor family purchased Carmichael Machine Corporation and expanded the Company's markets once again by supplying components for the lawn and garden industry.

Today, Carmichael Machine Corporation is well recognized throughout the industry as high-quality producers of machined metal components with an outstanding record for consistent, on-time deliveries and attentive customer service.
